Port of Eden.
The Port of Eden is the most southern declared Port in NSW, and services the south coast
of NSW, including the towns of Bega, Merimbula, Bombala and Cooma.
The Port is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in NSW, and also has significant capacity
to service the needs of a variety of importers and exporters.

Export of woodchips is currently the major trade for the port with approximately 954,000 tonnes exported last year by South East Fibre Exports Pty Ltd. This is supplemented by exports of softwood logs and general cargo from the multipurpose wharf, which was commissioned in late 2003. The multi-purpose wharf has a length of 200 metres and approximately 6,000 square metres of paved storage area. It is capable of handling vessels of up to 32,000 dead weight tonnes and the depth alongside is 12.0 metres at datum. Ship's cargo gear is normally employed, although mobile cranes of up to 50 tonnes capacity are available with sufficient notice. The wharf is shared with the Department of Defence, and since its completion, has handled not only Warship visits, but Logging and Cruise Ships. To facilitate trade through the Multi Purpose Wharf, NSW Maritime has developed an 8 hectare cargo storage facility approximately 300 metres from the wharf. Best Toys For Children

Author: eden real estate admin / Category: home

The first years of our life are totally determined by one thing: Playing. Of course it is not a waste of time; it is a very important educational element and necessary part of our growth process. But there are different ways of playing and there are toys that make somehow more sense to educate our youngsters than others.

In my studies about the psychology of children I have focused on puppet buggies (German: Puppenwagen) for some time and tried to figure out if there is any educational benefit the buggies or comparable objects could have in the life of children. The idea of a puppet buggy was invented to some extend in Germany and a lot of puppet buggy producers are also located in Germany. Even the great psychologist Sigmund Freud who also contributed the understanding of the psychology of children has indirectly motivated some thoughts about puppet buggies.

Many children have dolls and most parents expect this or even like the idea of having grand children so early. They like to see that their offsprings care about something else. It might only be a puppet, but still teach them an important lesson: To take care. And this is also the reason why you should think about a puppet dolly (Puppenwagen). Even if you ask a professor for psychology at the university he will tell you not to underestimate the things you can learn from owning a dolly and treating a puppet a bit more like a real child.

Thus youngsters learn that if you have a puppet or child it is not only about that. It is also about many other equipment the puppet needs like any other real human being also needs many other stuff. You should not be too scared that you child will also ask for many more utensils. important in a puppet’s life. Children will still understand the difference between a puppet and a real child. And if they ask you to buy more stuff for their puppets you might explain that puppets do not need that many things. But encourage them to buy this later for their real children.

If you ask children, most of them will say that they would appreciate to have more utensils for their dolls. They love their puppets and want to treat them the best possible way. This should not amuse the parents; this should be encouraged by them. This particular behaviour of our children shows that they do not only want utensils for themselves. Maybe for the first time they think about the needs of somebody else.
