Many people have found that living in the city is no longer their dream, and so they move to a bigger house in the country and turn the middle floor into B&B accommodation. Of course there are a few details to check before you can start a B&B business in your home. First of all, make sure your house is situated in a place that has enough visitors to need another B&B or one at all. You need to make sure that the local council supports the conversion of the building from a home into a Bed and Breakfast. The venture also needs to be worth the effort and money you put into it so you need to be able to fit at least two or three bedrooms in the building. And of course, you need enough money to be able to make the B&B safe by installing fire doors, signs, extinguishers and safety rails.

And finally, you need to make sure that there is enough room in the building so that you can live comfortable whilst there are guests staying. There is no point in having no room to move whenever you have visitors or your lives will be unhappy.
