How I can search for Word documents on your hard disk by keyword?
I tried the search function built into Windows Vista, and also Search Google Desktop. Neither of these are found each document on the hard disk that contains a given keyword (eg "Shakespeare"). These programs are only some of the documents. Any suggestions? Thank you.
With Windows Vista, you must rebuild the search index – or at least check that all the places where they store their documents are included in the list of monitored folders. However, in Word you can click File / Open or whatever and then click Tools on the top right of the Open dialog box. Then see the "Search" on top of menu. This allows you to search for documents containing the word keywords.
